Construction loans offer flexibility

Building – or renovating – your suburban castle can be a demanding endeavor. You’ll need a solid project plan (with room for eventualities), as well as a well-organized staff. A project manager can be beneficial as well. A benevolent dictator with a stick (e.g., a project manager) can also be beneficial.

You’ll also require funds, though you won’t require them all at once. You’ll need home financing with extra construction conditions in particular.

You can pay off your construction financing in chunks or installments using our loans. Most banks provide this service, which they may refer to as ‘progressive drawdowns’ or ‘progress payments.’ Both terms are used interchangeably, however, they refer to specific payments made at distinct stages of a project.

Your construction team

You’ll have a builder and an architect, as well as possibly a project manager. There will be engineers, electricians, and a slew of other freelancers on the job. You’ll need a tight, cohesive team, which will demand planning, adaptability, and (most importantly) excellent communication.

We, too, regard ourselves as members of the team. We’ll assign a banker to you or your broker if you secure a construction loan from us. They’ll help you with aspects of your loan, such as progressive drawdowns and loan repayments.

If your condition changes at any point throughout the construction, please contact us as soon as possible.

The usual stages of construction

There are various stages to a typical construction project.

Plans, permits, connection fees, insurance, and other aspects of preparation are included.
Concrete slab, footings, pad, and base brickwork make up the base.
The home frame has been completed and approved.
All of the windows and doors, as well as the roofing, exterior, and insulation, have been completed.
Fixing — for example, your kitchen cabinets, appliances, bathroom, and toilet have all been installed. The plumbing and electrical work has been completed. Your house has been painted and plastered.
Fences are up and ready for use. The site has been cleaned up. The final payment is made to the builders.
